Responsibilities
The City Recorder is responsible for the preparation, execution, and archiving of all City Council documents as prescribed by State law and City Code. These duties include:
- City Council documents, official proceedings, ordinances, and resolutions
- Board and commission applications and appointments
- City Council meetings
- City Council election materials
- Oaths of the Office for City Council and Commission members
- Processing documentation for annexation requests
- Publication of legal notices
- Recording of official documents
- Subdivision and project files
