As of Jan 1, 2010 the Waterline Department has requested that utility customers with Roosevelt City who have experienced their water service freezing in previous years leave a small stream of water running day and night. This is because of the cold weather conditions. Utility customers will be allotted 16,000 gallons of water beginning December, 2009 until March 1, 2010. Otherwise, if the water freezes, it may not be possible to get water service to the home or business until the weather warms up.
