Parks

Two community parks are located in Roosevelt. They are generally open for public use and are wonderful open areas.

Pavilion Rentals
The pavilions located at the parks are open for public use but can be reserved by calling Jolie Opsahl at (435)722-5001 or email jopsahl@rooseveltcity.com . The cost for reserving a pavilion is $35.00. If the pavilion has been reserved by another party you may not use the facility during that time.

Old City Park
The Old City Park is an 8 acre facility located in the heart of town at 90 W Lagoon Street. This park is almost 100 years old. It has an outdoor basketball facility, childrens play ground, outdoor swimming pool, community library, two baseball diamonds, batting cage, a pavilion, and is home to the American Legion Hall.

Constitution Park
Roosevelt's Consitution Park is a 35 acre park that was constructed in the late 1970's. It was built with a general obligation bond and was paid off in 1995. Many volunteer hours and hard work went into the construction of the facilities. It has five baseball diamonds, sand volleyball pits, childrens playground, restroom facilities, and two pavilions. Many activities are held thru the year at this park. The most noteworthy is the annual Uintah Basin in Celebration festivites held every August. It brings about 10,000 people into our community to celebrate our local heritage. It's a three day event that ends with a free concert and fireworks display.
