CLOSURE REQUEST
Shar Benson came before Council requesting closure
of an alleyway located at 400 East at 200 North across the bridge by the
carwash. The City has a sewer manhole
located at the end of this alley next to the Gulch and it was felt that it
would not be in the best interest of the city to close the alley. Shar stated that
she is making the request for closure so she can build a porch on a home that
borders the alley. Shar
was told that it shouldn’t be a problem building the porch as long as it didn’t
extend into the alley property. It was
decided that Shar should bring in a drawing of where
she wants to place the porch to make sure it doesn’t extend into the alley.
