Tammy Wilkerson, Finance Director works on a daily basis with overseeing the finances of Roosevelt City. By doing it this way it ensures an enviorment for input to decision making and employee participation in organizational problem solving. A Finance Director also assures to the reliability and regulatory compliance with the State of Utah. This position provides also proactive responsive effcient and accountable government services for Roosevelt City. This in turn promotes intergovernmental cooperation.
The following are important componets of this position
►Grant writing
►Strong management, interpersonal, communication, analytical skills.
►Responsible for general accounting and financial reporting,preparation and monitoring of annual budget of approximately $8M
►Cash management and investment
►Fiscal policy development
►Payroll and personnel benefits
►Other duties as assigned
►Works under supervision of the City Manager

Vicki Rasmussen, Accounts Payable Staff Member, works in the Finance Department also.
Her duties include:
⇒checking the invoices in which the City owes to vendors
⇒ processing checks for payments to the vendors
⇒ contacting the vendors regarding unpaid invoices
⇒ Follow up and discussing the invoices with the
Department Head regarding the purchase made in that
department.
⇒ Also is a relief cashier and receptionist at the main desk
when needed.

Being a City Treasurer involves receipting and depositing all monies properly in the correct accounts on a daily basis. Also acts as a receptionist to the general public. This position includes working with the building, utilities, and business licensing and other duties when assigned.
